The Rho Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, made a significant mark at this year’s 84th Conclave, held with great enthusiasm and pride. With 19 dedicated Brothers in attendance, the Conclave, a cornerstone event for Omega Men, proved to be both enriching and rewarding.
Among the highlights, Brothers Perry Fulcher and Gary Owens were honored with Service Awards, recognizing their outstanding commitment and contributions to the fraternity. Additionally, the late Brother Harold Netter was solemnly memorialized during a touching Memorial Service, highlighting his lasting impact and legacy within the brotherhood.
Rho Nu Chapter members actively engaged in the affairs of the fraternity at the 9th District Caucus, where they had the opportunity to question candidates and directly interact with the District Representative. This participation underscores the chapter’s commitment to shaping the future direction of Omega Psi Phi.
Notably, Brother Al Stevenson received well-deserved recognition at the Founders Banquet for his remarkable 60 years of dedicated service to Omega Psi Phi, a testament to his unwavering commitment and loyalty.
With over 8,000 Brothers registering for the Conclave, the event showcased the unity and strength of the fraternity on a grand scale. Looking forward, the anticipation builds for the next Conclave, slated to take place in Cincinnati, OH, promising another vibrant gathering of Omega Men from across the nation.
Looking ahead to district activities, next year’s District Meeting will be hosted in Detroit, MI, offering another opportunity for Rho Nu Chapter to engage and contribute to the fraternity’s ongoing legacy.
